Filmmaker Marina Seresesky (you have all her previous films on Feelmakers), is shooting her first feature, The Open Door, starring Carmen Machi, Terele Pávez and Asier Etxeandía. Completing the the cast are Paco Tous, Sonia Almarcha, Yoima Valdés, Monika Kowalska and children Lucia Balas and Hugo Ndiaye.

The open door, produced by Álvaro Lavín and José Alberto Sánchez for South Productions, Chester Media Productions, Stop & Play Europe, MilCiclos and Babylon Films is a film that tells the story of Rosa, a prostitute who inherited the profession from Antonia, her mother, who thinks she is Sara Montiel and turns her daily life in a hell. Rosa does not know how to be happy. She just can not. But the unexpected arrival of a new member to her particular (and absurd) family will give her a unique opportunity to achieve happiness…

Marina Seresesky was nominated for a Goya Award for her short film The Wedding which won more than 100 awards in national and international film festivals. You can watch this short on Feelmakers, also her other two works, The Cortège and Mothers 15 cents a minute.
