The increase of the storytelling around the end of the world and the extinction of the human race not only shows the rise of a subgenre within the fantasy cinema, but also the growing concern of people for the most existential issues: where do we come from, where are we going, how we should someday atone for our sins as failed society.

The only man, a 21-minute short film directed by Jos Man with the Proddigi Films production, embraces all these questions to confront a man with his nightmares, which are nothing but the reflection of himself.

Excellently filmed by cinematographer Pau Mirabet and well played by Timothy Gibbs, the film achieves a breath-taking atmosphere that takes us, above and beyond the inhospitable world occupied by zombies, to the hell of the human mind. The only man left in this contaminated earth in his last days fights against his own weaknesses: loneliness, absence, the struggle for survival, guilt.

The only man has received over a dozen awards at international film festivals, and finally is included in our catalogue of Feelshorts.
