On our tour for the fiction short films candidates for the Goya Awards, which, as you know, you’ll find in a special collection on Feelshorts, we discovered a comic mockumentary: Citizen Torralba Redux, by Suso Hernández, is presented as a documentary about the life of Cedebeo Torralba, the one and only rock-paper-scissors World Champion.

Following the narrative elements of the documentary genre, the author cleverly shows different testimonies of gurus of their respective fields used as hilarious evidences of plausibility: Santiago Segurola, sports analyst, Forges, cartoonist, Rosa Maria Calaf, journalist and Fernando Savater, philosopher.

In parallel to these testimonies, the film shows how Cebedeo Torralba was well situated in the highest of the society, hobnobbing with the Beatles themselves, since “he was turned into a national hero in a needy Spain of historical figures”.
