About to release the musical documentary about Enrique Bunbury The longest road, director Alexis Morante also delivers this year his eighth short film, BlaBlaBla, a hilarious story of a young man who first used the car sharing service through internet. The man has a meeting with the service users to take them to their destination in exchange for money. With this type of online platforms, you never know whom you will meet.
BlaBlaBla, a 700 G Films production, production company co-directed by Morante, joins the other two outstanding director’s films on Feelshorts: Somersault (2010) and Matador on the Road (2011), both selected at festivals around the world.
BlaBlaBla was shot over three days in the city of Algeciras with another project also by the Andalusian filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Both as solidarity and altruism on the part of all equipment related to the Association of People with Disabilities Algeciras Bay (APADIS).
The film comes from an original idea by Bruno Morante, following an eviction notice to public schools. It is played by Salva Reina, Malaga today actor known for his roles in The Minimum Island and 321 days in Michigan. Beside him, complete the cast Carlos Perez, Manuel Ponce and Sara Sanchez, three users of the center for people with disabilities, along with the special collaboration of Andalusian actress Maria Alfonsa Rosso and mythical broadcaster of Cadena Ser Juan Manuel Dicenta.
BlaBlaBla has been done without any budget and in record time, with the collaboration of a team of local professionals. In the words of Bruno Morante, psychologist, co-writer and Alexis’ brother: “It is a simple and humble project without any budget, for the integration of people with disabilities in the artistic universe. From idea to shoot and edition only will an interval of one week. I think it will be fun”.
